How to say no to the woman in the red dress

How to say no to the woman in the red dress

I got a new offer.

Becoming a head coach for teaching Content Operations in a new community with high-level players willing to scale hard In the muslim niche.

I thought hard about this.

There's the obvious opportunity to earn money for sure, but I can use that as an experience to document a cool journey and most importantly - help muslims with my skills.

But I didn't feel it.

Feeling is most of the time not a vector of good decisions.

But with time, feelings are a manifestation of intuition.

And intuition is a manifestation of accumulated experience stored in the subconscious mind.

The gut feeling here is to take on another project that will take away time from my own.

I said I was going to grow my Content Operator business.

But I am very limited with the clients I do hands-on, high-investment work for.

So I decided to decline.

Because I announced my goal publicly, and don't want to get distracted.

Now what's in it for you?

The matrix of decision you can use to make sure you're heading in the right direction.

This matrix is influenced by my experience as well as the current state of the economy and advancements of AI.

AI is coming for our jobs and businesses.

After thinking for 2 minutes, I realized what was going to be left:

AI handling all the efficiency and chores of the world

(Personal) Brands that sell status

Entertainers

Manual labor (Pizzaiolo, Plumber, Mechanic)

Criminals

With this in mind, I knew that every decision shouldn't just lead to money.

It needs to provide me with an asset I can invest in.

As Content Operators we're right in the middle between brands that sell status and entertainers.

So this leads to the decision matrix that I used:

Does it make money?

When do I start earning?

Does it compound into an asset that I own?

Can I document the experience

Will I enjoy doing this for more than a month?

In this case, I can definitely get a bigger brand and position myself as the Content Operator in that niche.

The problem is the cash, it's all profit shared with a team of 4-5 and a product that's not battle tested yet.

So I declined.

Stay focus,
