Why Boxing is Better than the Gym

Most people join gyms to get fit.

I joined one because it's the bare minimum to stay healthy.

But here's the problem with gyms:

Everyone puts on headphones and ignores each other.

You go in, do your sets, leave.

Zero human connection. Zero opportunities.

Boring.

Then I discovered boxing.

Same fitness benefits. But completely different energy.

No headphones. You're forced to interact.

You're literally facing someone else, throwing punches, learning together.

The community is different.

Within two weeks of joining a boxing gym in Canggu, I'd met more entrepreneurs than in six months of regular networking events.

We'd train together. Watch UFC fights at the club. Talk business between rounds.

That's how I built my entire network here.

Not through LinkedIn messages or coffee meetings.

Through getting punched in the face together.

Here's what I learned:

The best business relationships aren't formed in business settings.

They're formed when you're doing something challenging together.

When you're both vulnerable. Both learning. Both getting uncomfortable.

That's when real connections happen.

Your content should work the same way.

Don't create content that feels like a networking event.

Create content that feels like training together.

Show your struggles. Your learning process. Your mistakes.

Make your audience feel like they're in the ring with you.

That's how you attract real clients, not just followers.

See you in the trenches,
